Continuing Professional Education (CPE) refers to learning activities that develop and maintain capabilities to enable members to perform competently within their professional environment.
The objectives of CPE are to:
- Ensure that all ISCA members maintain an adequate level of professional knowledge and skills to enable them to carry out their work competently and professionally;
- Assist all ISCA members in responding to new technological developments, and changing responsibilities and economic conditions; and
- Demonstrate to the public at large the Institute's concern for the public interest by ensuring that its members acquire adequate knowledge and skills in order to provide the quality of services that can be reasonably expected of them.
