ISCA Games was first organised more than 30 years ago by the ISCA Community, Social & Sports Advisory Panel (CSSAP). The Games, which not only promotes a healthy lifestyle and work-life balance but also creates significant time for the accountancy profession, where members of the profession get to enjoy themselves, make new friends, renew existing friendships and challenging themselves through engagement in sports and friendly competitions among the profession.
The objective of the ISCA Games is to build a united, cohesive accounting fraternity by fostering camaraderie among members of the profession. The Games has always been well represented from the accounting firms such as Baker Tilly, Crowe Horwath, Deloitte & Touche, EY, Grant Thornton, KG Tan & Co., KPMG, PwC, RSM Chio Lim, BDO, Foo Kon Tan, Moore Stephens, PFK-CAP Singapore, Mazars, Nexia TS, One Assurance andCommerce Team, which makes up of individual ISCA members, has also been actively participating in the Games.
Each participating firm is allowed to send a maximum of 2 teams per game.
Team submissions for the respective games must be submitted by the stipulated deadline, which will not be later than 31 March of each year. Failing which, the said firm will be considered as withdrawing from the game.
In order to be eligible to participate in the ISCA Games,
a player must be an employee who is on the payroll of the participating firm.
for Commerce Team, the player must be member of ISCA.
This would include employees of the following job types:
Full time / Contract
Part time / Temporary
Internship
Punctuality
All teams must be punctual on the date of competition.
A grace period of 15 minutes is allowed.
After which, the respective team will not be eligible to participate in the competition.
In addition, it would constitute as a walkover.
Postponement
No postponement of individual games will be entertained, except for the following
Changes and/or restrictions imposed by the venue owner,
Extreme weather conditions that would prevent the game from commencing i.e. haze, thunderstorms, torrential rain, etc
Unforeseen circumstances, which will be reviewed on a case to case basis.
In the event of an inevitable postponement, the convener of the respective game, along with the other participating firms will discuss and propose a reschedule of the game. Following which, they would have to inform the Secretariat as the budget allocated for the game may be affected.
