The Refreshed Skills Framework for Accountancy and the ISCA Compliance Certificate Series The refreshed Skills Framework for Accountancy now features ten career tracks. Individuals and employers can refer to the Framework to find out more about the job roles, progression pathways and existing and emerging skills which are in demand.
Professionals who are involved with or taking on compliance related processes may want to equip themselves with the ISCA Compliance Certificate series. For a start, we have launched the ISCA PDPA Compliance Certificate and will be launching a Digital Risk Management Certificate course in early 2021.
Go Digital Technology and digitalisation is transforming the workforce in different industries including the Accountancy and Finance. It is imperative that Accounting professionals upskill and reskill themselves to keep pace with the changes and stay relevant in the workforce.

Redefining the Finance Function with Job Redesign

To illustrate how job roles in finance functions can be redesigned to meet the challenges of technology disruption and how accountants can prepare for what is likely to come, the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, Lee Kuan Yew Centre for Innovative Cities at the Singapore University of Technology and Design and Ernst & Young Advisory collaborated in a study to investigate how job roles in finance functions in Singapore can evolve to optimise collaboration between humans and machines and what new skill sets accountants may need going forward.
