ISCA CEO, Mr Lee Fook Chiew, was quoted in The Business Times on the question of "What do you think is distinctive about the Singapore identity? How might it evolve in the years ahead?" This is what he has to share:
Singaporeans are known to be pragmatic and highly adaptable. These traits will stand us in good stead in an environment that continues to be characterised by volatility, uncertainty, complexity and ambiguity. As disruptive technologies and changing business models transform the business landscape, Singaporeans will respond to the challenges and opportunities with optimism and positive action. As the national accountancy body, ISCA has been preparing accountancy professionals for upcoming challenges and opportunities in the changing environment, and we will continue to empower the profession with the skills and competencies to be future-ready. - Lee Fook Chiew, Chief Executive Officer, Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA)
