With the theme “Revving up for Tomorrow: be Relevant, be Efficient, Move up the Value Chain”, this seminar aims to provide you and your team with an update on the recent developments concerning your practice, in particular for those from small and medium-sized practices (SMPs). Our distinguished speakers will bring you through a series of topics, ranging from technical to practice management related. In addition, there will be a sharing session by the Accounting and Corporate Regulatory Authority (ACRA) on audit regulatory updates and certain practice review matters.

Sharing by ACRA
Hear from ACRA on some key audit regulatory updates that will come into effect in 2017 and 2018.
With the expansion of Ethics Pronouncement (EP) 200 – Anti-Money Laundering and Countering the Financing of Terrorism – Requirements and Guidelines for Professional Accountants in Singapore inspection regime to include those public accountants/public accounting entities that audit non-listed entities, ACRA will also be sharing the key observations noted from EP 200 inspections and good practices that have been implemented by audit firms.
New Revenue Standard - FRS 115
Learn how FRS 115 - Revenue from Contracts with Customers will have an impact on various industries. This session will cover, from the auditors’ perspective, the implementation challenges faced by industries and the proposed solutions, as well as how SMPs can prepare their clients for such changes.

Quality Assurance Seminar 2015

Quality Assurance Seminar 2013
The Quality Assurance (QA) Seminar was inaugurated by ISCA on 1 November 2013 with the aim to provide members, in particular those from small and medium-sized practices (SMPs), with a better understanding of the common deficiencies found in the audit work performed by auditors as well as recommended approaches to address those deficiencies.
