Ladies and Gentlemen,
Good evening and thank you for joining us at the ISCA Games 2019 Closing Ceremony.
ISCA started the ISCA Games more than 30 years ago to foster camaraderie and cohesiveness within the accountancy fraternity. The Games continue to be a popular and highly anticipated event for members of the profession every year. This year, ISCA Games drew participants from 15 public accounting firms and 15 commercial companies. In total, about 280 teams competed in 27 different sporting categories, including beach volleyball, carrom, dragon boat, ultimate frisbee, and street soccer.
Tonight marks the end of months of friendly competition among the various teams. I would like to express my appreciation to all participants who have contributed your time and effort to prepare for and participate in the games.
This evening, we will present the winners of each sporting category with their trophies and medals. We will also be presenting the championship trophy to the overall champion for this year’s ISCA Games. I am happy to announce that the Overall Champion of the ISCA Games 2019 is KPMG Singapore, with a total of 62 points. Our heartiest congratulations to this year’s champion!
Deloitte came in second with a total of 61 points. Lastly, we will present conveners from the various firms with tokens of appreciation. Let us put our hands together for a round of applause to all participating teams!
You have put in time and effort to train and compete in this year’s Games. Now is the time to sit back, relax and have a good time.
Enjoy the rest of the evening and see you again at next year’s ISCA Games.
