If you meet the prevailing ISCA membership admission requirements, you are welcome to join ISCA as an Associate member before completing the relevant specialisation qualification. Please click here for more information. Otherwise, you may join after completing the specialisation qualification and meeting the conditions to be conferred the ISCA credential.
If you are not already an existing ISCA member, you must apply for ISCA membership after completing all required modules of the relevant specialisation qualification and acquiring the required years of work experience relevant to your specialised areas to be conferred the ISCA credential. All ISCA membership applications are subject to the prevailing membership admission requirements.
For one to be conferred the ISCA credential, he/she must be an ISCA member. This is to ensure that, like all other ISCA members, he/she will uphold the ethical and professional standards. Therefore, non-ISCA members who have completed the relevant specialisation qualification will need to apply for the Associate membership concurrently with the credential application.

Applicants who have completed the ISCA Financial Forensic Accounting (FFA) Qualification will be required to furnish the following supporting documents:
a) Congratulatory Letter provided upon the completion of the four modules of the ISCA FFA Qualification.
b) A competency write-up detailing the applicant’s financial forensic experience, supported by their resume and/or employer testimonials validating the core areas of their work in financial forensic related field. The endorsement of work must be by the applicant’s immediate supervisor or senior personnel who has sufficient knowledge of applicant’s work.
Applicants who have completed the ISCA Infrastructure & Project Finance Qualification (ISCA IPFQ) will be required to furnish the following supporting documents:
a) Congratulatory Letter provided upon the completion of the three modules of the ISCA IPFQ.
b) Latest resume detailing the applicant’s infrastructure and project finance experience, supported by employer testimonials validating the core areas of their work in infrastructure and project finance related field. The endorsement of work must be by the applicant’s immediate supervisor or senior personnel who has sufficient knowledge of applicant’s work.

For applicants who have completed the relevant specialisation qualification, a one-time application fee of $107 (inclusive of GST) is charged to cover additional administrative costs in processing the application for the use of the ISCA credential.

To maintain an active ISCA credential, ISCA members must:
a) Maintain ISCA membership in good standing with no outstanding complaints or disciplinary proceedings;
b) Pay an annual credential renewal fee in conjunction with renewal of ISCA membership;
c) Complete a minimum of 8 CPE hours relevant to their specialised areas annually, which can be counted towards fulfilling the respective CPE requirements of a CA (Singapore) or an Associate (ISCA);
d) Agree to abide by the Institute (Membership and Fees) Rules and ISCA Code of Conduct and Ethics Pronouncements;
e) Agree that if these requirements are not satisfied, the ISCA credential will be revoked, and the reinstatement requirements must be met to regain the ISCA credential.
ISCA Financial Forensic Professional (FFP) credential
The renewal fee for the ISCA FFP credential is $107 (inclusive of GST). This will be waived for the first two years after applicants have obtained the ISCA FFP credential, i.e. waived for 2019 and 2020 renewal.
ISCA Infrastructure & Project Finance Professional (ISCA IPFP) credential
The renewal fee for the ISCA IPFP credential is $107 (inclusive of GST). This will be waived for the first two years after applicants have obtained the ISCA IPFP credential, i.e. waived for 2020 and 2021 renewal.

Non-renewal of the ISCA credential or failure to comply with the CPE requirements and other conditions will result in the removal of names of the ISCA credential holders from the Specialisation Register and they will have to cease the use of the ISCA credential immediately.
The ISCA credential will need to be maintained together with the ISCA membership. For example, if the ISCA membership is removed due to non-renewal of membership, the ISCA credential will also be revoked. ISCA may, at its discretion, revoke any rights to use the ISCA credential if a member fails to maintain membership in good standing.

ISCA credential holders whose names have been removed from the Specialisation Register will have to apply for reinstatement of the credential.
To regain the ISCA credential, the following reinstatement requirements must be met:
- Maintain ISCA membership in good standing with no outstanding complaints or disciplinary proceedings;
- Pay all annual credential renewal fees from the last outstanding amount till current period;
- Pay reinstatement fee of $100 (before GST), late payment fees of $30 (before GST) and any applicable penalty;
- Acquire at least 8 verifiable CPE hours relevant to your specialised areas during the period of 12 months immediately preceding the date of the application for reinstatement;
- Agree to abide by the Institute (Membership and Fees) Rules and ISCA Code of Conduct and Ethics Pronouncements
Yes. The reinstatement of ISCA membership will not automatically reinstate the ISCA credential.

It is not mandatory to have the ISCA Infrastructure & Project Finance Professional (ISCA IPFP) credential in order to practise in infrastructure and project financing. However, the ISCA IPFP credential will provide one with the professional recognition that signifies the individual is equipped with the requisite professional competencies of a qualified infrastructure and project finance professional.
ISCA IPFQ graduates may only use the ISCA IPFP credential after they have joined ISCA as members; have applied and been conferred the credential by ISCA.
Upon completion of all modules, ISCA IPFQ graduates can be conferred the ISCA IPFP Credential, subject to meeting the prevailing membership admission and experience requirements.
(i) Membership Requirements
- Non-ISCA members shall apply for Associate membership and be admitted as Associate (Specialist); or
- Existing ISCA members who have maintained ISCA membership in good standing and complied with the CPE requirements with no outstanding complaints or disciplinary proceedings;
- Fellow Chartered Accountant of Singapore [FCA (Singapore)];
- Chartered Accountant of Singapore [CA (Singapore)];
- Associate (ISCA).
(ii) Experience Requirements: At least three (3) years of recent and relevant work experience prior to the application for the ISCA IPFP Credential.Both pre-qualification and post-qualification work experience that is relevant to infrastructure and project finance will be considered during the review of credential applications.
Pre-qualification refers to relevant working experience accumulated prior to the completion of the ISCA IPFQ. Post qualification refers to relevant working experience accumulated after the completion of the ISCA IPFQ (i.e. after the graduation date).All individuals must demonstrate that they possess and/or have oversight over infrastructure and project finance related assignments that require all professional competencies (Table 1) and at least two (2) of the areas of work (Table 2).
