Episode four of the webinar series ‘Perspectives on sustainability disclosure’ will explore the Pan-African context for sustainability disclosure. Jurisdictions such as Ghana, Nigeria and Tanzania have taken steps towards the adoption or other use of ISSB Standards. In this webinar, IFRS will look at some of the drivers for adopting ISSB Standards across emerging markets and developing economies as well as steps needed to build capacity.
The fourth episode of the webinar series, titled ‘Implementing IFRS Sustainability Standards: Pan-African insights’, will take place at 19:00 (Singapore) on 17 October 2024.
The series engages new and experienced preparers in expert presentations and lively discussions each month and is supported by organisations in the IFRS Foundation’s Partnership Framework for capacity building.
