* Additional requirements for overseas applicants:
- Applicants from a recognised accountancy body
- Applicants will need to obtain a letter of good standing from their membership body stating that there is no disciplinary record or outstanding complaint instituted against them.
- Applicants from a recognised overseas degree
- Applicants will need to provide an employer letter attesting to their work experience, covering a minimum period of six months. The employer letter should be issued on an official company letterhead, signed by an authorised representative, and include the following details:
- Applicant’s job title and responsibilities during the period of employment.
- Duration of employment, indicating the start and end dates (if applicable).
- Contact information of the authorised representative.
- If the letter is not in English, an official translated version would need to be furnished.

Frequently Asked Questions
Applicants for admission as an Associate (ISCA) do not need to take an examination. However, they must meet one of the following criteria:
- Completion of a recognised accounting degree;
- Completion of the final examination of a recognised professional qualification; or
- Current status as a Singapore CA Qualification candidate.
- A letter of good standing from their local membership body, confirming no disciplinary record or outstanding complaints against them.
- An employer letter certifying at least six months of work experience. The letter should be on official company letterhead, signed by an authorised representative, and include the following details:
- Job title and responsibilities during the employment period.
- Duration of employment, including start and end dates (if applicable).
- Contact information of the authorised representative.
- If the letter is not in English, an official translated version must be provided.
CPE is applicable to Associate members with effect from 1 January 2017. For Associates (ISCA), at least 60 CPE hours over a rolling three-year period, of which 30 hours must be verifiable. A minimum of 10 verifiable hours, including 2 verifiable hours of ethics, must be completed each year.
Members who hold a specialisation credential (e.g. ISCA Financial Forensic Professional Credential) have to complete a minimum of 8 verifiable hours relevant to their specialised areas each year, which can be counted towards fulfilling the CPE requirements of an Associate (ISCA).
