Landmark MOUs Signed at ISCA House Opening
16 Jan 2014
Today, ISCA begins a new chapter with the opening of its brand new building, ISCA House, at 60 Cecil Street. Located in the heart of the Central Business District, ISCA House provides greater accessibility and convenience to our members, most of whom work in business and finance. We hope our members can feel at home at our new location, which has a members’ lounge on the first floor that provides coffee and reading materials.
The opening of ISCA House was officiated by Guest-of-Honour, Mrs Josephine Teo, Senior Minister of State for Finance and Transport, and was attended by over 80 guests and staff this morning.
A vibrant lion dance performance kick-started the joyous occasion followed by a ribbon cutting ceremony featuring Mrs Josephine Teo; ISCA President Dr Ernest Kan; ISCA Vice-President - Mr R. Dhinakaran; ISCA Treasurer - Mr Ho Tuck Chuen; and ISCA CEO - Mr Lee Fook Chiew.
In conjunction with the official opening, ISCA announced two major initiatives that will benefit the accounting profession. Today, ISCA signed an MOU with ICAEW, followed by an MOU with ACRA, highlighting the continuous efforts of the Institute in bringing value to our members, the profession and wider community.
About the ICAEW – ISCA MOU
ISCA has signed a landmark MOU with ICAEW to establish the ICAEW-ISCA Pathways to Membership scheme. The scheme will run for two years between January 2014 and December 2015 and enables ISCA members who meet the entry requirements to become an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and attain the internationally recognizable Associate Chartered Accountant (ACA) designation.

As much as ISCA would like to invite more members to be part of the celebrations, we would like to apologise that we were unable to, due to space constraints.
