The 5th Professional Accountancy (PA) Hub Meeting at ISCA House brought together a diverse group of professional bodies, trade associations, and chambers for an energizing session of collaboration and networking. 

A major highlight of the meeting was the Law Society of Singapore (LawSoc) joining the PA Hub, expanding the network to 24 partners. We also welcomed representatives from the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (SingCham) for their first participation. 

ISCA CEO, Ms. Fann Kor, provided key updates on ISCA’s internationalisation efforts, including the establishment of ISCA Professional Services Centres overseas to further support businesses. 

A special presentation by SG Enable highlighted their important work in promoting inclusivity and supporting persons with disabilities. The session was filled with vibrant exchanges as members forged new paths for meaningful partnerships.

The final PA Hub Quarterly Meeting of 2024 provided a reflective look at the year’s progress and future opportunities for collaboration. The PA Hub has expanded to 23 members since its founding, underscoring its impact as a key platform for cross-collaboration in the business and accountancy sectors. 

The meeting saw the induction of two new members: the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry (SCCCI) and the Singapore Chamber of Commerce and Industry in China (SingCham). 

A preview of key projects for 2025 sparked discussions on several priority themes: Advancing sustainability within the business community

  • Driving sectoral transformation to strengthen Singapore’s position as a global hub
  • Supporting internationalisation through market access and resources
  • Empowering youth collaborations to nurture future leaders 

The meeting concluded with reflections on how to shape a resilient and innovative future for the accountancy and business sectors.

The 3rd Quarter PA Hub Meeting at ISCA House brought together key stakeholders from the accounting and business communities. ISCA President, Mr. Teo Ser Luck, emphasized the PA Hub’s role in fostering cross-collaboration and enhancing Singapore’s business landscape through the collective expertise of its members. 

The meeting marked a significant milestone with the induction of three new members: The Association of Small & Medium Enterprises (ASME), the Chartered Institute of Public Finance and Accountancy (CIPFA), and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS), expanding the network to 21 members. 

Members also shared updates on their latest initiatives, while ISCA highlighted several upcoming events, including the ISCA Charity Golf and ISCA Conference, reinforcing the importance of collaboration across sectors.

The 2nd Professional Accountancy (PA) Hub Meeting marked another significant milestone with the Singapore Business Federation (SBF) and Tax Academy of Singapore joining the PA Hub network, bringing the number of members even closer to the Hub’s goal of fostering broader industry collaborations. 

ISCA CEO, Ms. Fann Kor, opened the session, which included insightful presentations on: 

Harnessing AI in Accountancy: Insights shared by Mr. Wai Geat Kang, ISCA 

Global Talent Trends: Key takeaways from Ms. Sharifa Nafisa, FCCA, ACCA 

Sustainability in Manufacturing: Strategies by Mr. Clement Teo, SMF 

Accountancy Workforce Review: Findings by Dr. Germin Ong, PBM • EdD • CA (Sg), ACRA 

Through these regular exchanges, the PA Hub continues to strengthen collaborations, drive innovation, and shape the future of the accountancy profession.

The inaugural Professional Accountancy (PA) Hub meeting held at ISCA House set the stage for meaningful collaboration and partnerships among key stakeholders from the accountancy, professional services, and business sectors in Singapore. 

In his opening remarks, ISCA President, Mr. Teo Ser Luck, highlighted the PA Hub’s role in creating a dynamic ecosystem that supports a global network of 3.6 million professionals across 16 partners. ISCA CEO, Ms. Fann Kor, led discussions on existing collaborations and new opportunities, paving the way for deeper engagement and future initiatives. 

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, attendees came together for a festive lo-hei session and luncheon, fostering unity and goodwill among the members. 

We look forward to the continued growth of the PA Hub as it strengthens its role in driving impactful contributions across sectors.
