As Singapore develops into a global accountancy hub, all stakeholders should have a keen understanding of the sector’s dynamic future. In line with this, ISCA organised the inaugural Singapore Accountancy Convention in 2010. The Singapore Accountancy Convention brings together distinguished business leaders, international industry experts as well as senior partners from the accounting firms, C-suite executives from prominent companies and senior representatives from government agencies to share global and local perspectives on accountancy development and issues.
The Singapore Accountancy Awards recognises outstanding practices and individuals in the profession. It is the first of its kind within the local accountancy sector and is intended as a platform to recognise business and individual excellence, promote good practices, and strengthen branding of the profession and industry.
The ISCA Pre-Budget Roundtable, a signature closed door event, bringing together top honchos and business leaders of trade bodies, Big Four and C-suite executives to discuss and provide feedback on the Singapore Budget. The key insights raised at the Roundtable serve as important feedback to policy makers regarding Singapore Budget matters for their consideration in the formulation of the annual Budget.
The inaugural ISCA Run was organized in 2014. With an objective of giving back to society under the community wing of the Community, Social and Sports Advisory Panel, ISCA had adopted a beneficiary – Singapore Association of the Visually Handicapped (SAVH) and had raised S$100,000.00 for this worthy cause. There were three categories of runs catered to all range of ages. With the run opened to accounting and auditing firms, as well as the public, it garnered a crowd of about 1,200 participants.
