Funding available for ISCA Financial Forensic Accounting Qualification

SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) aims to encourage individuals to take ownership of their skills development and lifelong learning. Introduced in 2015, all Singaporeans aged 25 and above will receive an opening credit of S$500. You may wish to use your SFC to pay for partial/full of the programme fees.

On 1 Oct 2020, the Government provided a one-off SkillsFuture Credit Top-up of $500 for all eligible Singaporeans aged 25 or above by 31 Dec 2020. Singaporeans aged 40 to 60 by 31 Dec 2020 will also receive an Additional SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career Support) of $500 which can be used for courses under: (i) SGUnited Skills Programme, (ii) SGUnited Mid-Career Pathways Programme – Company Training, and (iii) Career Transition Programmes. This additional SFC (Mid-Career Support) is NOT applicable for use on ISCA courses. If you wish to enrol for the course with SFC, please proceed with the following steps:

  1. Step 1: Check your SkillsFuture Credit (SFC) balance to ensure you have sufficient balance for the course. Please check your SFC account balance here.
  2. Step 2: Register for your desired module(s) via the ISCA Portal.
  3. Step 3: On the "Payment" page, you will find the Funding section and please refer to the Module Enrolment User Guide (under "Download") to complete your module enrolments.
  4. Once you receive email confirmation that the course is confirmed, please proceed to submit SFC claim via the MySkillsFuture Portal within 60 days before the course start date and obtain the necessary approval.

Important: Failure to submit your claim application and obtain approval before the course start date will require you to pay/top up the SFC amount indicated for use. An administrative fee of $42.80 will be charged for any invoice revision.

Under UTAP, NTUC members enjoy 50% *unfunded course fee support, capped at $250 each year, for courses supported by UTAP. NTUC members aged 40 years old and above can enjoy enhanced UTAP funding support up to $500 per individual each year, capped at 50% of unfunded course fees, for courses attended between 1 July 2020 to 31 December 2025. *Unfunded course fee refers to the balance course fee payable after applicable government subsidies. This excludes material fees, registration fees, misc. fees etc.

 

Eligibility Criteria:

 

  • Maintained paid-up NTUC union membership before course commencement, throughout whole course duration and at the point of claim; and
  • Course by training provider must be supported under UTAP, and training must commence within the supported period; and
  • Unfunded course fee must not be sponsored by company or other types of funding; and
  • Member must achieve a minimum of 75% attendance for each application and sat for all prescribed assessment(s); and
  • UTAP application must be submitted within 6 months after course completion.
