Before you sit for the exams, it is equally important that you familiarise yourself with the examination guidelines and rules and how to navigate the e-Exam platform, to be fully prepared.

Learning resources for the Foundation Programme include the following:

  1. Study Guides and Syllabus will provide the mapping of the learning outcomes for each module to the recommended textbooks. (Find these in the Resources tab)
  2. Past intakes' Exam Papers give you a flavour of the style and difficulty of the exam questions. Great for revision. (Find these in the Resources tab)
  3. Past intakes' Examiner's Reports highlight the weak points from the previous exams. Do take note not to make the same errors. (Find these in the Resources tab)
  4. Past intakes' Examiner's Guides are everybody's favourite resource, providing the much needed suggested solutions to your practice. (Find these in the Candidate Portal)
  5. Facilitated Study Sessions (1st week of June/3rd - 4th week of November)
  6. Recorded webinars (Refer to FAQ section for steps to access the learning videos)

Learning resources for the Professional Programme include the following:

  1. SCAQ Syllabus Handbook will provide the list of learning outcomes for the modules.
  2. Module textbooks is the primary text that is mapped to the relevant module learning outcomes. (Find these in the Candidate Portal)
  3. Practice workbooks as the name implies, provides sample questions for practice practice practice. (Find these in the Candidate Portal)
  4. Past intakes' Exam Papers like the ten-year series give you a flavour of the style and difficulty of the exams. (Find these in the Resources tab)
  5. Past intakes' Examiner's Reports provide insights from Examiners on areas that were done well or needed improvements in the previous exams. (Find these in the Resources tab)
  6. Past intakes' Examiner Guides are only available on the candidate portal and provide the suggested solutions to the past year papers. (Find these in the Candidate Portal)

E-examinations

Examinations are administered on the e-exam platform, Cirrus. Familiarise yourself with the system before taking the exam using the Examination Guidelines and Rules document

 

Attempt mock exam. The mock exam is meant to assist candidates to be familiarised with the e-exam platform. It does not have remote proctoring features turned on. Remote proctoring features will be turned on for the actual exams.

Remote Proctored E-Examination

Candidates will take the exams in a location of their choice with internet connectivity, using their own laptops.  Candidates will be monitored via their computer's webcam using Artificial Intelligence. There is no change to the format of the exam.
